How we collect prices
- Each figure is taken from the vendor's official pricing page, docs or help center, and stored with its source URL and the date it was checked (2026-10-18 for this release).
- An automated monitor fetches every source page daily and flags any text change for human review. We publish a changelog entry only after a person has verified the change.
- If a figure is not on an official page, we mark it “Not published” or “Unverified” and never fill the gap with a guess.
Calculator formula
- Monthly hours = hours/day × days/week × 4.33.
- API-equivalent cost = input tokens × (1 − cache hit) × input rate + input tokens × cache hit × cache-read rate + output tokens × output rate.
- Dollar-allowance plans: price + max(0, API cost × markup − included dollars). Pass-through plans: price + API cost × markup.
- Plans that don't disclose capacity (Claude Pro/Max, Codex, Cursor's own-model pool, Devin, Kiro credits) show their flat price, labeled “capacity not disclosed”.
- Ranges use 50% and 150% of your token estimate.
- Default token assumptions (editable): light 1M in / 0.05M out per hour, 70% cache; medium 3M in / 0.15M out per hour, 80% cache; heavy 8M in / 0.4M out per hour, 85% cache. These are assumptions, not vendor data.
